Go Skate Day

Community Forms

Join Black Cube to celebrate Go Skate Day at Matt Barton's site-specific installation Community Forms located on the TAXI campus in Denver, CO. We’re collaborating with TAXI and local skate staple 303 Boards to celebrate community building around public art spaces. Come hang out, skate, listen to music, and support Black Cube’s mission of expanding artists’ careers through publicly accessible art. Our 2021 Artist Fellow Matt Barton’s creation of Community Forms was heavily influenced by skate culture’s hallmarks of deep community, radical experimentation, and physical agency in public spaces.

There will be food trucks, free beverages, and a DJ. Also available will be new Black Cube merch bundles and free skateboard sticker packs (while supplies last)!

This project is produced by Black Cube with support by 303 Boards, Zeppelin Development's TAXI campus, and donations from Epic Brewing Company.
