This limited-edition hat is a continuation of a collaborative series which reimagines the sculptures of artist Gabriel Rico as art objects and wearables.
Gabriel Rico’s sculpture series, I have anticipated you (The object, constructor of the social, expelled from the social world, attributes to a transcendent world what is, however, not divine), explores the fragmentation and reconstruction of elements associated with everyday life. Here, Rico illustrates a mental game where humans project their desires, interests, and ideals onto figures of cacti. Portions of these projections come together to form a new entity, neither plant nor animal, representing our collective imagination.
